While riding shotgun with John McCain for a couple months as his VP pick, Sarah Palin was (to hear her version) kept from the press by the McCain campaign. Apart from the Gibson and Couric interviews, Governor Palin's media exposure consisted of a few softball appearances on FOX News. Since the election last Tuesday, Ms. Palin is making up for lost time. It's as if she can't get enough of the media; everyone is welcome and everyone seems anxious to hear Palin dish about the failed campaign.
Alaskan local news over the weekend. Yesterday was Greta Van Susteren from FOX, and today is Matt Lauer from the Today Show. Entertainment Tonight was in Alaska interviewing the governor. Palin has media appearances lined up for all this week. She's become a regular Paris Hilton publicity hound (oh wait, she can't be that - that was Barack Obama).
In the meantime, it's reported that over 80% of Republicans want to see Sarah Palin run in 2012 for the Republican presidential nomination. (Democratic Party strategist, Paul Begala, recently remarked that 100% of Democrats want that as well).
I reckon we should get used to seeing a lot more of Sarah Palin.
