From a McCain rally in Johnstown, PA yesterday.
The scuttlebutt is that John McCain is altering his campaign message, attacking Barack Obama on policy rather than personality. The change has apparently created a schism within his campaign, as Sarah Palin reportedly supports a more aggressive campaign.
In the meantime you have folks showing up at McCain and Palin rallies (see above) that have, apparently, just figured out they could end up losing this election. And they're not happy about it. And some will carry that heavy load of hate around for the next four years should Barack Obama win on November 4th. That sounds like misery.
And not a frame of mind that's going to move the country forward through some very difficult times.
