General Taguba: Bush Officials Committed War Crimes

June 18, 7:43 PM

After the Abu Ghraib story became known, the Pentagon chose General Antonio Taguba to investigate prisoner abuse at the facility.   In a report released today, General Taguba accused the Bush Administration of committing "war crimes" and called for those responsible to be held accountable.
"After years of disclosures by government investigations, media accounts and reports from human rights organizations, there is no longer any doubt as to whether the current administration has committed war crimes," Taguba wrote. "The only question that remains to be answered is whether those who ordered the use of torture will be held to account."
"The commander in chief and those under him authorized a systematic regime of torture," he wrote.
Alot of torture stories lately, huh?  My suspicion is that more and more of these individuals will come forward to tell their story as this Administration comes to an end.  It will be ugly.  You should brace yourself.
