I wrote last weekend about Loudoun County police officers who ticketed several cyclists for running stop signs during a charity ride. In the aftermath of the incident, the Washington Post is hosting an online poll that asks readers whether authorities should crack down on rule-breaking cyclists. Thus far, nearly half of the 333 respondents say either there should be a crackdown on cyclists or that cyclists should be banned from the road entirely. Forty-two percent say that motorists are the real danger.
