A lovely 1950s animation from across the pond via San Francisco Tweed

Cycling, simply a form of transportation for most riders, serves as a surprisingly robust source of creative inspiration for others. The Weekend Pick, an ongoing feature of this blog, will highlight a memorable example of bicycle-inspired art, music, and other creative activity each week. Please note: "memorable" need not suggest that the creations displayed are necessarily of high-quality or lasting cultural significance. We're looking not just for work that belongs in the MOMA, but rather for an eclectic mix of art that speaks to the eccentric nature of bicycle culture.
