Meet other stay-at-home moms through MOMS Club chapters on Oahu
Stay-at-home moms have the best job - we get to spend all our time with our favorite little people. However, as much as we love spending all day every day with our kids, it's easy to feel a little isolated from the adult world at times. MOMS (Moms Offering Moms Support) Club on Oahu offers the perfect opportunity for moms to get connected with other stay-at-home moms, which is not only great for moms' social needs, but for our kids' developing social skills as well.
Local MOMS Club chapters are part of an
international organization dedicated to providing support for moms who make the decision to stay home with their children. It provides a multitude of activities during the day for moms and kids including field trips, park days, beach days, holiday parties, and age-specific playgroups. It also has special interest groups such as baby sign classes, coffee talk, recipe clubs, and book clubs. It's for moms and by moms so kids are included in all activities (except, of course, moms night out!). MOMS Club is also a charitable organization. The different chapters participate in various charitable events and participate in at least one service project per year helping needy children in the community.
Oahu has four active chapters of Moms Club:
MOMS Club of Honolulu-East,
MOMS Club of Oahu - Leeward,
MOMS Club of Waipahu/Aiea, and
MOMS Club of Oahu - Windward. If you live in an area of Oahu not covered by these chapters, you can click
here for information on how to start a new chapter. Members pay annual dues, which vary by chapter, but they are generally around $25 - see the individual links for more details. If you are interested in joining, you can email the Membership Coordinator from the links above. You can attend a MOMS Club activity before joining to see if it's a good fit for you and your kids.
