Boaters in the vicinity of Stuart, Florida, will want to take advantage of huge discounts on boats, fishing tackle, diving gear and chandlery items during the September 18-20, 2009 "Martin County Nautical Flea Market and Seafood Festival." Organizers are billing it as “Bargains Galore” and promising that hundreds of vendors will be offering huge discounts on boats, fishing, boating and diving gear, nautical clothing, marine surplus items, anchors, mooring products, nautical art and antiques. Landlubbers are welcome, too, to come and sample the culinary arts of the area's finest chefs.

Sponsored by U.S. Boating News and Outdoor Florida magazine, the nautical flea market promises to provide an outlet for the marine industry to sell overstocked and used marine equipment at a fraction of the original retail cost. According to promoters, many boaters, fisherman and divers will find valued items for their maritime lifestyle as well.

The Martin County Fairgrounds is located at 2616 SE Dixie Highway, Stuart FL and is easy to access from the Florida Turnpike and I 95. There is plenty of free parking. The gates open at 9:00 a.m. and close a 6:00 p.m. each day. Click here for their Web site.
