Hsiao-Ching Chou is a partner at Suzuki + Chou Communimedia, where she serves as a senior consultant in communications. My husband is a television producer (which makes it extremely difficult to limit TV watching in this house to just one hour a day) and his mantra for capturing video: Wide, medium, tight, hold for 10 seconds. Mix up the angles so that there are different perspectives to cut together during the editing process. Hold a shot for at least 10 seconds, because you can always edit down a scene, but you can't add more footage once you're in the editing process.
