Christa Bennett holds a master’s in international relations from the War Studies Department of King’s College London. In London, she served as a director of two NGOs, Waging Peace and Network for Africa (N4A). In 2007, she moved to California, where she continues working with the US branch of N4A. Her primary interests are the protection of human rights, development of communities, and the recognition of women and children in global, state, and local politics. Christa lives in San Diego with her husband and young daughter, with whom she spends her days learning how to cook, teaching how to color, and experiencing grace.
