It's about that time; The sun leaves and the rain falls down. Leaving you caught every so often in that down-pour with full-busses swooshing past, soaking you. Of course there are no cabs and you and have cold feet. This year, beat the rain at it's own game by investing a few dollars in some Rain-Boots.
Below are my best picks for affordable and cute Rubbers that range from $8.99 to $49.99. Enjoy.
First on my list is Target.com. They have the biggest selection or rain-boots ever, which is why they are getting the first nod on the list of cheap galoshes. I mean, they seriously have rain-boots in every color, every flower, every bug, and every single combination of all of the above. At $24.99 each, they dont break the bank either. I love the green ones at left that sort of resemble Famke Janssen's above. They also carry the bright yellow, pale pink, and seriously, every color you can think of or want.
If you like Lady Bugs, then 6pm.com has the boots for you. These navy and red Gabriella Rocha Lady Bug boots are on sale for $15.24 and 6pm.com offers $6.95 flat rate shipping, bringing these boots to a cool $22.19. I love these boots...and this site, in which I just discovered researching this post. The site itself offers the standard, flat rate shipping and offers 75% off on lots and lots of different clothes. It's worth checking it out. Sort of like an online Ross or Marshalls.

For the real Frugalista, Bargain Catalog Outlet, BCO, has rain-boots for $7.99 in three different prints, black, plaid and for the trendy-Frugalista, animal (cheetah) print. (no picture available-but straight link.)
These Tye-dye Rain Drop Boots , from Overstock.com are my favorite of all rain-boots. I love these. Great color, and like a good wand, or deck of tarot cards, they just speak to me. $39.99 at Overstock.com

For maybe a chic-sophisticated rain boot that doesn't get too spiffy or loud on you, check out (coughs) Walmart (cough). Yes, Walmart. These extra-shiny black womens Rain- Boots just sort of have a nice look to them. They are shiny enough to go with your moto jacket too.
If you have $50.00 to spend on rain-boots, these are the boots to spend them on. Firstly, it is for the animal rescue site and for every pair of rain boots bought, they will donate a pair to Soles 4 Souls, a non for profit that gives shoes to needy people in the US and abroad. In addition to that, the hunger site will donate 150.0 cups of food for each pair of Cosmopolitan Paw Rain Boots sold. The absolute best thing about the rain-boots...they are really cute.
