Billing itself as the ultimate sports bar, Buffalo Wild Wings on 10th Street West and Avenue Q in Palmdale has everything you need to enjoy a good game with friends. In the Antelope Valley, where faceless chain restaurants and bars are a dime a dozen, Buffalo Wild Wings is one of the better establishments of this type.

The venue itself is a decent size and offers a bar, tables and booths. However, sitting room diminishes quickly on game nights and weekends. Buffalo Wild Wings is a popular hangout for the younger crowd, who often stop in for drinks with their friends. The atmosphere isn't rowdy, but if you are looking for a quiet spot for a drink, then you may want to look elsewhere.

The Bar is well stocked and beer lovers will be happy with a draft selection that is above average for the Antelope Valley. Guinness, Land Shark, and Blue Moon are just a few of the quality brews you can get straight from the tap and the bottled is just as eclectic.

The food menu is standard chain fare, but as the name indicates, there are chicken wings a-plenty. Available in various styles and flavors the standouts seem to be the original spicy and honey BBQ and all them go great with a cold craft beer from the bar.

In the end, Buffalo Wild Wings is a pretty decent sports bar and one of the better ones in the Antelope Valley. The one thing it lacks is character. The only downside to this restaurant and bar is the fact that it is one of several other that are exactly the same. If you want a cool dive with some local color, you’re better off looking elsewhere. If you would rather support a local sports bar, you can head over to Coach’s in Lancaster or The Office in Quartz Hill. Both these bars offer the same atmosphere as Wild Wings, but are locally owned, so your hard earned dollars will stay in the community.
