And then there were four. After tonight's elimination on 'Dancing With The Stars,' the last four dancing pairs are set for the semifinals. The results show meant that one celebrity's attempt to win the trophy was over, but the remaining are one week closer to winning it all. So how did it all go down?

The couple chosen for the encore dance was also the first to learn that they were safe: Joanna Krupa and Derek Hough. They were quickly followed by Mya and Dmitry Chaplin, not surprising since one of their dances last night was perfect, and Donny Osmond and Kym Johnson. This left Aaron Carter and Karina Smirnoff and Kelly Osbourne and Louis van Amstel as the two couples up for elimination. In the end, it was Carter's time to go.

Carter was actually quite gracious as he took his leave. He shook hands with Len Goodman and said, "I've grown so much with your compliments and your criticisms, so thank you. Thank you for helping me to be able to grow on this show." Goodman, who has always been a fan of Carter's, said to Carter, "I think you're an inspiration to all young people that anything is possible, and if you were my son, I would be so proud of you. But more important, you be proud of yourself, because you've been great." It was a bit of an unexpected love fest, but was sweet overall.

The evening also featured performances by Susan Boyle and Michael Buble. Buble sang several songs and seemed to be a crowd pleaser with his performance. Boyle sang the song that made her famous, 'I Dreamed a Dream,' although it was a bit different compared to her audition for 'Britain's Got Talent.' Boyle proved that she may have stumbled a bit when it came to dealing with fame but that she still can deliver the goods. The woman has got an amazing voice!

Next week, the remaining dancers will perform three dances. This will undoubtedly be a stressful week for each pair as they prepare for what will be one of the most competitive nights of the season.

Glad that Carter's gone?
