This week the 17,000+ membership American Homebrewers Association has introduced its new website homebrewersassociation.org.  Formerly the association was integrated into part of beertown.org.  The new site integrates current technology, social networking, interaction opportunities along with homebrew related beer stories, news and features.  Whether you are a beginner, mid level or advanced homebrewer there’s loads to see and participate in.  Membership opportunities, events and benefits are lots.  There will be members’ only sections of the website in the future.

What’s new?

  • AHA FORUM   – It’s now free and open to the public. You just have to register with the site if you want to post a comment to the forum.
  • Highlighting homebrewers, clubs and homebrew news -Short stories featuring homebrewers, awesome homebrewing systems and homebrew clubs will rotate each week.
  • WIKI WIKI – Homebrewopedia  The American Homebrewers Association has its own wiki for homebrew recipes, ingredients and basically all things homebrewing. Users will need to register to read and post.
  • Club Resources  - Clubs have their own resources area now. They’ll find helpful information on conducting club meetings, events, etc. This is also where clubs can post their club profile.
  • The Directory feature is easy to use and helpful - Find a Pub Discount, find a homebrew supply store, find a homebrew club, find a U.S. brewery, find an international brewery.
  • Let’s Brew has tips for beginners and master mashers.

Having a blast and homebrewing was always fun.  Now it just got better.
