Is the Great American Beer Festival headed for another sellout?

The Great American Beer Festival, Denver, Colorado is October 9, 10, 11. Tickets have been on sale since June 1. There is a three fold (300%) increase in ticket sales at this point in time, compared to last year’s event, completely sold out about a week before the event.
Thursday, October 9 GABF session: 23% sold
Friday, October 10 GABF session: 37% sold
Saturday, October 11 GABF members only session: 51% sold
Saturday, October 11 GABF evening session: 25% sold
At this rate sessions of the Great American Beer Festival expects to sell out weeks before the event.
Festival organizers considered expanding the festival after last year’s sellout, but decided against it. There are dozens of important factors that were considered. The most important being a desire to maintain a quality experience for the festival attendee and being able to provide the logistical support for serving 1,800 beers.
