Spring Cantaloupe Martini

What You Need:
1 cup of cold water
1-(12 ounce) package of pre-cut cantaloupe or fresh cantaloupe
2 tablespoons of sugar
1 lime, juiced
Ice cubes
Melon vodka
Melon liqueur - (Midori)
Garnish: 1 lime, sliced or cantaloupe chunks (optional)

 

What to Do:
STEP 1) Use 4 chilled martini glasses.

 
STEP 2) Using a blender, add the water, cantaloupe, sugar, and lime. Puree in blender until liquid consistency. Strain into a measuring cup.

 
STEP 3) Fill a martini shaker with ice cubes. Pour in 1 part melon vodka to 2 parts cantaloupe juice. Shake vigorously. To serve, pour into chilled martini glasses. Garnish with a slice of lime or cantaloupe chunk or drizzle lemon liqueur over the top and let sink to the bottom.

 
STEP 4) Sip & Enjoy!
