Brand Nubian plays Sputnik in Brooklyn

Late into Saturday night, Lord Jamar, Sadat X and Grand Puba Maxwell stepped onto the stage at Sputnik in Clinton Hill, Brooklyn. The three performed their classic songs for the crowd in the intimate downstairs space of the bar/restaurant.
Patrons stood mere inches away from the rappers as they took it back to 1990 with "Slow Down," "All for One" and Punks Jump Up." When the show was over, after 3am, they walked through the crowd giving pounds and swigging beer with the audience.
