Taylor Swift has had quite the year already.
A consecutive #1 album, consecutive #1 songs from that album, and a sold out tour to boot!
Today the nominees were announced for the American Music Awards, one of the less respected award shows of the season. She can also rest easy knowing that Kanye West was shut out of the nominations, and has not been announced as a performer.
Swift is nominated in the following 6 categories:
- Artist of the Year
- Favorite Pop/Rock Female Artist
- Favorite Pop/Rock Album
- Favorite Country Female Artist
- Favorite Country Album
- Favorite Adult Contemporary Artist
