No, I grew up in Detroit, so am stuck with the Tigers. (It's getting to be an obsession -- every day there's some new injury to Google-news: Joel Zumaya, Fernando Rodney, Curtis Granderson, Dontrelle Willis, now Carlos Guillen.)
And I started to become an NBA fanatic in Denver, which employs my favorite player of the modern era, Allen Iverson. Unfortunately, Carmelo Anthony seems to be an unrepentant knucklehead. You know it's bad when friends who are Pistons fans start comparing Anthony's personal conduct unfavorably to Dennis Rodman's. ("At least Rodman never screwed up like this when his team was fighting to make the playoffs!")
