"Step into the world of the unknown..."

"Voted the #1 Ghost Tour in the WORLD!"

"No costumes, lanterns or anyone jumping out from behind trees to purposefully scare you!"

Obviously, these tours are not meant as "amusement only" events, but the real thing.

The lures are endless, the promises almost too good to resist. But are haunted tours for you? Are you ready to graduate from Halloween-induced haunted houses to the genuine article? Maybe you've thought about joining a team on a full-fledged paranormal investigation, but perhaps you'd feel safer and more comfortable in a group.

There are many tours available, sure to quench your thirst for a satisfying paranormal experience. They vary from local walking tours, to bus tours - sometimes of several small towns in close proximity - to overseas tours to ancient ruins.

Deciding which tour is best for you depends on a number of things, including your finances, what you hope to get out of the adventure, and the credibility of the company or group offering the tour. Be certain you check their web site and talk to people who've attended in the past, if possible. A place that assures its guests paranormal activity every time they go out probably warrants further investigation. If any one place could honestly boast guaranteed paranormal activity, all the teams would be clamoring to investigate, and the media would make it their headline story.

That being said, the links below should give you an idea of some of the tours offered to the general public. Do your homework before you spend your hard-earned money, but by all means, enjoy the experience!
