Miley Cyrus' tour bus overturned this morning in Virginia. The local NBC station, WWBT is reporting the bus driver was killed.  The 16 year old Disney star who's currently on her whirlwind Wonder World Tour was not on board.  According to Virgina police the crash happened on Interstate-85 around 8:15 am Friday in the town of Dinwiddie, VA. It's unclear if any of the other 15 passengers on the bus were injured or what caused the crash.

Miley Cyrus performed last night at the Nassau Coliseum on Long Island, NY and is scheduled to perform on Sunday, November 22 in Greensboro, North Carolina. (There were no concerts scheduled on November 20th or 21st.) No word yet if that is where the tour bus was heading or the status of her upcoming show.

The 16 year old was forced to cancel several performances (a first for her) earlier in the tour due to illness.
