With the debut of Justin Bieber's first ever album My World about to go on sale (November 17) the 15 year old Canadian is on whirlwind press tour. Not that he needs to drum up any business...the teenage girls seem to love this YouTube discovery.
In just one short year Bieber signed with Island Records and went from a no name singer to a tween pop star sensation. Justin has also released four pre-album singles all of which have landed on the Billboard Hot 100's Top 40. An accomplishment that's never been done before and one that's at least partially credited to his very loyal and swooning female fans.
While his success is unquestionable, it's yet to be fully seen since the baby-faced teen hasn't even released an album yet. The world will likely get a glimpse of this young star's potential when the record sales are reported after the first day, week, month, etc.
So what do you think? Does Justin Bieber have lasting star power in the real music world? Can the 15 year old compete in the star power and staying power of other superstar teen sensations like Miley Cyrus (debut album sold 4 million copies worldwide) or Jonas Brothers (first three albums, excluding Lines, Vines and Trying Times, sold a combined 8 million albums worldwide)?
We're not being bias or anything but...we think so!
