Viva Dog Vegas to benefit Chicago Ridge Animal Welfare League

On November 28 The Urban Mutt will present Viva Dog Vegas, a casino-style holiday extravaganza featuring table games, raffle, Bingo, vendors, dog activities and much more. A portion of the event’s proceeds will be donated to the Chicago Ridge Animal Welfare League, Chicagoland’s largest humane society.
Chicago Ridge has been in the news recently for receiving a large group of dogs after they were rescued during a raid on a dog fighting ring at a daycare center. Since the AWL operates only on public donations they need all the help they can get.
Try your luck at one of the Vegas-style or carnival games, or take advantage of several services available for you and your pup. There will also be a dog and owner outfit contest, so be sure to slip on your Vegas attire! You don’t have to gamble or bring a pup to enjoy the festivities – there will be plenty to do for everybody.
You must register through The Dog Vegas Event website or by mail to be on the guest list. If your name is not on the list you will not be able to enter the event. Cost is $25 for adults and $5 for kids 13 and under.
All dogs must be on a leash and current with all of their vaccinations.
