Cafe' Camellia

located at 16916 Bellflower Blvd, in the heart of Bellflower, is in the hearts of many fine food connoisseurs that have dined there throughout the years, one of the best Euro-Asian restaurants anywhere. The décor’ and service are impeccable, the wine list and bar service, bar none. But the food  (careful not to drool on the menu) is where you will fall in love, everything is prepared to perfection and is beautifully plated without ornate grandeur.

Highly recommended, but not always available because the menu is changed frequently: Combination pasta plate of: spinach, ricotta and goat cheese in a champagne cream sauce, Penne alla’ beef bolognese & gnocchi with feta cheese cream sauce, $14.95. The gnocchi is simply the delectable.

Other notables off the entrée list which includes your choice of soup du jour or baby mixed green salad plus fresh vegetables and homemade scalloped potatoes include:

Lamb loin topped with dried fig, honey and cinnamon sauce; seared rare ahi served with prawns in garlic, sesame oil & wasabi teriyaki sauce; Moscovy duck breast with dried cherry and plum wine sauce; blackened sea bass served in a garlic chili cream. Entree prices range from: $14.00 to 32.00 and well worth it.

Naturally, the dessert menu is just as enticing.
