Michael Jackson's dermatologist, sperm donor and friend, Arnold Klein, gave a no-holds-barred interview about the pop star's life, in an exclusive talk with TMZ.
He readily reveals that Jackson was a drug addict, citing two instances when he personally intervened to help the singer. Klein admitted to injecting Jackson with Demerol, but only as a therapeutic pain reliever due to surgical procedures on Jackson's face and scalp. Klein refused to give Jackson Propofol, as he doctor shopped for the lethal drug. Klein takes credit for denying Jackson the drugs that he requested, despite his fame.
Steven Hoefflin was the plastic surgeon who performed 20 procedures on Jackson's nose and also administered Propofol to him, before Dr. Conrad Murray became his 24-hour physician, according to Klein. It became apparent, while listening to Klein, that he was upset by the way Dr. Murray cared for Jackson, and partially blames AEG, "This Is It" entertainment presenters, for hiring him without checking into his background. Klein also surmises that Murray may have been asleep the day Jackson died, due to inhaling the Propofol that Jackson had been exhaling. Labeling Murray incompetant for not having an EKG available during the administration of the drug, Klein admits to wanting to hit him in the head for taking Jackson's life.
Klein recalls how Jackson's family contributed to his dysmorphic body image, by calling him "tomato nose." He also relates details of the family and sibling relationships, and divulges details of insider information, including Jackson's habit of peeing in a cup, often in front of others.
