And here I thought scuba diving was for the serene experience, quiet, and beauty of view. Now you can interrupt all of that and keep yourself connected at all times. You don't want to miss that important phone call about your friend's marital problems do you? I didn't think so. I bet your kids would love this when you drag them to Hawaii and force them to dive with you as a family. They could pretend to enjoy the scenery while talking crap about how unfair you are to their best friend that wasn't allowed to come.

I also suppose it could be used for good also...

The phone stays in a waterproof shell on a custom buoy. A microphone and speaker are attached to a diving mask that has a 40 meter long cable connected to the buoy. The cable can be detached at any time should you find yourself tangled on a coral reef or your automated pool sweeper.
