Authorities in Cleveland are reporting that four additional bodies have been discovered in Sowell's back yard, bringing the total to ten.

Anthony Sowell is a convicted rapist. Police initially discovered six decomposing bodies while trying to arrest Sowell on a new rape charge. Sowell was released in 2005 after serving 15 years in prison for choking and raping a 21-year-old woman in 1989.

The likelihood that Sowell's body count stops here is remote. Expect the history of this apparent serial killer to unravel over the coming months as police learn more information through investigations surrounding this man who, for practical purposes, should have remained in prison upon his first offense.

Anthony Sowell's reign of terror ends
Police are now investigating his residence, uncovering more bodies as they go.
