Not really into the Super Bowl? Maybe the thought of taking your child to a noisy, crowded, tipsy party where they are expected to entertain themselves and behave for 3+ hours while a football game plays on TV is a bit much for you.
Or maybe you'd like to let the kids have some fun this weekend too since the grownups have the big game on Sunday to look forward to.

Families with young children are invited to visit Tattered Cover for a special Pajama Storytime. Kids can wear their favorite jammies and enjoy stories, a fun activity, and healthy snacks provided by local Whole Foods Markets. Parents can pick up coupons and Family Reading Cards, and take advantage of specials at the Coffee & Tea Shops.

Wild Dreams Overnight
Families with children can enjoy an exciting night at the Downtown Aquarium to explore the exhibits, learn about the animals, make a craft, and more. Bring a sleeping bag and snooze among the sharks and rays. Event cost includes admission to the Aquarium, a t-shirt, snack, and breakfast. One adult chaperone per five children admitted free. Advance reservations two weeks in advance are required....but you may want to call to see if space is still available.

Family Fun Day - Kids Bowl IV
In honor of the Super Bowl, Kids Bowl IV features sports-themed games and activities throughout the museum. Players can participate in a mascot scavenger hunt, face painting, games, crafts, and other exciting surprises. Children can warm up with some jumping jacks in the bouncing fun house before they test their free-throw skills against the clock and their accuracy with a quarterback toss. Other games include putt-putt, skiing lessons, and more.

Prairie Dog Day

Ah, a peaceful workout...now THAT'S worth missing a football game for!
