Stephen Vargas received his juris doctor from Brooklyn Law School in 2008 and his bachelor of arts in political science from Columbia University in 2005, where he was a four-year staff member of the Columbia University Daily Spectator student newspaper. He has lived on Long Island, New York since birth, and maintains interests in law, politics, rock music, sports, and writing.
