Czeck Inn is now the Days Inn, one of the two hotels in Weimar, Texas.  As a long stay or just a over night, the Days Inn in Weimar, Texas is a great hotel.  Some of the amenities are free breakfast consisting of oatmeal, honeybuns, toast, bagels, sausage biscuits, juice, pecan swirls, and of course coffee, and a washer and dryer conveniently located off the lobby.  The ice machine, coke machine, and snack machine are in the same room with the washer/dryer.

The Days Inn is located across the parking lot from the Wildcat Express, a convenient store.  The Wildcat Express is a gas/grocery/pizza station.  The Wildcat is the only establishment in town that sells quality pizza.  In the same building is a Mexican restaurant which serves great enchilada's.

The new owners of the Days Inn are very hospitable, and made us feel right at home.  During our stay the first time my daughter turned five years old.  The friendly staff assisted me in setting up a small birthday party in the lobby, in payment we gave them some of the birthday cake.

On our second stay two days later, the clerk greeted us by name and welcomed us back.  The Inn was under construction at the time and the owners were very concerned with our comfort and whether the noise of putting in new carpet was bothering us.  Which it was not, as the carpet installers were fast and moved through the halls like ghosts.

Our visit to the Days Inn was very enjoyable.  We plan to stay whenever we're in the Weimar/Columbus area.
