Win $5,000 in the Karaoke Olympics!
Instead of spending money when you travel to Chicago, how about making some? By planning a few getaways to Chicago as soon as possible, you will have a chance to win $5,000 in the 2009 Karaoke Olympics! The contest takes place in the city’s Southwest suburbs; it is open to anyone over the age of 21, regardless of where you are from, as long as you will be in the city during the Qualifying Round, the Semi Finals and the Finals. This would be an ideal reason, especially for those living within driving distance, to take a few trips to the Windy City this February and March.
Imagine yourself stepping on stage, performing your favorite classic rock song, 90’s pop tune or soft 80’s ballad. The crowd goes wild, the judges give you a perfect score and you are that much closer to winning either $5,000 or your own DJ equipment! But before you get to that final round, you first have to qualify.
Qualifying rounds run through March 15th, and you will be able to find a place to compete any day of the week! Once you qualify, you will sing in the Semi Finals during the week of March 16th at the place where you first qualified. And once you advance to the final round, you will be performing on Sunday, March 29 at the Trio bar in front of huge crowds and celebrity judges who are very well known in the karaoke world!
Both the Qualifying Rounds and the Semi Finals take place at over 20 venues in Chicago’s Southwest suburbs!
