Stephen Bassett of the Paradigm Research Group.

This week in UFO Video

The Obama Administration will break the "truth embargo" before the end of May 2009, and announce evidence of an on-going alien presence on Earth, according to Stephen Bassett of the Paradigm Research Group.

If not, Bassett says, another nation will step up and make the disclosure.

The Paradigm Research Group just closed out their Fifth Annual X-Conference in Washington D.C. with another round of top UFO speakers - and planted the seed for this century's greatest news story - the Obama alien reveal.

Some of the disclosure signs include, according to Bassett, particular cabinet appointments made by Obama, and other sources familiar with the new Administration. In addition, there has been a trend - although don't include the U.S. in this one - of countries finally releasing their secret UFO files. The mainstream media - which has traditionally ignored or treated UFOs with amusement - has shifted coverage to include interesting and informative pieces. The statistics, Bassett said, are proof in his group's database of mainstream media coverage which now shows a landslide of coverage as compared to just a few years ago.

And for those skeptics out there - the conference did offer some hard evidence in the way of discussion on alien implants - the idea that aliens have placed tiny and mysterious pieces of metal inside abductees' bodies. The resulting analysis - though not yet realistically funded - shows strong evidence that the implants display an advanced technology - and one that they hope to back engineer for future medical purposes.

The conference was held, in part, to let the media know that the tools for reporting are readily available - and it appears newsrooms nationwide are softening their stand and allowing eager reporters to cover ufology seriously.

The press conference is underway in this first piece of video. British UFO author and researcher Nick Pope has just finished speaking. Bassett mentions the largest collection of pilot sightings by Dr. Richard Harris - what he believes is the "single most profound database" of UFO proof.

Next up is author Richard Dolan, who wrote UFOs and the National Security State. Dolan announced the second publication in this three-volume set - The Cover-Up Exposed - due to be available June 2009.

This new work covers UFOs from 1973 to 1991, the Nixon Administration through the end of the Cold War.

Dolan describes the work as a 600-page comprehensive study of both military and civilian UFO encounters worldwide, illustrating repeated demonstrations of the UFO phenomena worldwide, the result of a highly advanced technology that has received no mainstream recognition.

U.S. and Canadian military air space has been repeatedly violated, Dolan says. His book covers the UFO secrecy, the structure of power, "Black Budgets" and special access programs, and both military and corporate secrecy. The book will further explain some of the issues that "polarized UFO research," including alien abduction, animal mutilations, crop circles and the idea of claims of reverse engineering. He further covers the influence of the Internet on the study of UFOs.

Part One of the video concludes with an announcement by Bassett that a book he and Grant Cameron have been working on for years - that was "turned down by every major New York publisher" - was recently picked up by Overland Press. The new book's working title is U.S. Presidents and UFOs: The Untold Story, covering mainly the Roosevelt to Carter Administration. He mentions some key characters today where interviews will be requested to serve as their living testimony.

Part Two - news conference

This second piece kicks off with Exo-political activist Alfred Weber from the institute For Cooperation in Space reminding us that 30 years ago, the United Nations presented Decision 33426, a call for the establishment of an agency or department for the disemmination of UFO research. The idea requires just one of the 192 participating nations to shepard this bill. He also points out that Mexico released UFO documents in 2004, Brazil in 2005, Canada beginning in 2007, Britain beginning in 2007, and Denmark in 2009.

Former CNN news anchor Cheryl Jones is introduced following Weber's talk. She invites fellow journalists to have the courage to look into UFOs, saying that this is "absolutely the most important story of our time." And with her years in the field, she says, "I think I know a good little bit about a good story." She also asks the media to take the advice of former astronaut Edgar Mitchell, inviting the press to look at the issue seriously, study the material, and "listen to what's being made available to you."

Bassett remind us that the Paradigm Research Group has an online database of between 2,300 to 2,400 mainstream media articles available going back to 1947.

Part Three - news conference

In this final segment, Bassett starts out by pointing out an interesting and recent media trend. He says that something has happened in editorial offices. "They have made the decision, that, yes, we will go there." The Paradigm Research Group and its online database has produced 186 links of UFO related stories from 2006, then 477 from 2007, and 1,104 from 2008. The 2009 stories continue to be linked, but the trend appears to suggest that mainstream media is now covering ufology seriously for the first time in modern history.

Alien implant researcher Roger Lear walks the audience through a fascinating look at some physical evidence. He first points out that a 2003 Roper Poll concludes that 2 percent of Americans believe that they have been abducted by aliens. Calculating this out to a worldwide group, he suggests that actual numbers across the globe could reach into the millions.

He has been involved in 15 surgeries where T-shaped objects have been removed from patients claiming alien abduction. Each of these, he says, is covered in a "strange biological coating," that is "so strong, when removed, you can't cut through it with a surgical blade." In seven of these cases, he says the objects, once removed, could be laid out side-by-side and you can't tell the difference between them.

One very interesting observation, he says, is that the "coating seems to be growing from the metallic structure within."

Part Four - news conference

Roger Lear finishes up here, pointing out that the coating over the metallic implant somehow serves as an agent to allow the human body to accept the foreign body. He then suggests that further analysis could work toward back engineering the idea for use in current medical procedures.

Next up is metallurgical expert, Dr. Alex Moser, who provides an overview of the objects. Moser holds a Phd in physical chemistry and has a materials analysis background.

Part Five - news conference

Moser continues in this segment with his analysis, and suggests that the current research on alien implants indicates the object is a non-terrestrial, functioning device.

Part Six - news conference

Roger Lear steps back in here and briefly discusses alien abduction timelines. Some abductees report that there was no loss of time at all, while the longest duration of lost time is seven days. The famous Travis Walton case lasted three days. He also pointed out other oddities, that observing the outside of an alien craft gives one the perception of one dimension, but once inside, the object may appear much larger.

Bassett closes out the news conference saying that his assessment of the Obama Administration - based on the President's appointments - and from other sources - indicates that this new Administration is planning to announce the end of the "truth embargo," admitting publicly that an alien presence is in fact real.

But Bassett also says that if the President does not disclose by the end of May, he feels that another government will step up and make a similar announcement. The next conference is scheduled for April 2010, "after the disclosure," Bassett says.
