NEWTOWN, PA - JAN. 21, 2009 - The Pennsylvania chapter of the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) is hosting a UFO Conference Jan. 24, 2009 at Bucks County Community College.

Three speakers are scheduled, plus personal testimony from UFO eyewitnesses from the Bucks County area.

Pennsylvania MUFON Director John Ventre will speak about the recent spike in PA UFO reports, particularly in the Bucks County area over the summer and fall of 2008.

Ventre talks about the UFO activity in Pennsylvania in this video.

UFO Hunters network television series host Bill Birnes will also speak. Birnes' show is in its second season on The History Channel and recently featured the increased sightings in Pennsylvania.

Dr. David Jacobs of Temple University will also speak about alien abduction and hybrids. Jacobs is an associate professor of history with interests in 20th century America, popular culture and history of film. He is the author of Secret Life: Firsthand Accounts of UFO Abductions, and The UFO Controversy in America.

The event runs from noon to 5 p.m. Admission is $15.
