Los Angeles County is home to several "Turkey Trot" races held during the week of and in honor of Thanksgiving. The holiday is traditionally held on the fourth Thursday of November and will land on the 26th of the month of November in 2009.

Some turkey trots are held on the very day of Thanksgiving (allowing you to work off some of that turkey feast preemtively), but there are also trots held on the weekends before and after the hoiday. The following races are all held in Los Angeles and its bordering counties:
