The women's Tour tennis event in Luxembourg began with the focus on Kim Clijsters, one of the most recognizable names in women's tennis, but it ended with a player few people knew winning it all.

Clijsters, playing her first tournament since winning the U.S. Open, lost in the second round to Patty Schnyder.

The winner turned out to be Timea Bacsinszky, a 20-year-old player ranked No. 70 who had never played in a tour finals before.

But on Sunday, she took out No. 6 seed Sabine Lusicki 3-6, 6-2, 7-5 in the finals.
