On the publishing tool Examiner.com provides each of it's bloggers, there is a little thingymawhatsits that tracks how many page views you've gotten (so far, daily, monthly, yeatly), the average for your subject (education), and the average for New York as a whole.
The NY Education average today: 38
The NY average today: 66
The NYU Examiner's actual page views today: 114
Being above average in your first month as a journalist: Priceless.
This is fantastic and I thank you, but we aren't done yet. I need ideas, many, many article ideas. I'm connected to a multitude of things on campus, but I can't be everywhere at once. I write this for you all; because I felt that there was a need for something other closer, something deeper, someone less who would write about useful and relevant things in a way that speaks directly to you. I am your lady, do with me as you wish.
...That's what she said. Yeah, I said it.
Somewhere in this job description it said that I'm supposed to provide you with insider information, something only an NYU kid would know. Well, that's all well and good except for one minor problem: I don't know everything and I haven't been on the inside for very long. In fact, I've only got about two more years left. So I need us to go in together, to uncover any and everything there is to be uncovered. Gimme the dirt, gimme the goods, and keep reading.
Also, if you think I'm wrong or have an oposing opinion, come correct me, I dare you.
