One of the most prolific and valued of comic book artists has died.

George Tuska, best known for his work on the Incredible Hulk and Iron Man, as well as a career that spanned six decades, passed away on October 15. I was personally drawn to his early work on the 50s crime comic, Crime Does Not Pay, as well as 70s Sub-Mariners and Ghost Riders. His work has adorned some of the more famous comic covers in the history of the medium.

He was one of the "old guard" that made our medium special and memorable. His name belongs right up there with Wally Wood, Jack Kirby, Steve Ditko, and John Romita Sr. Read more about him here.

Rest in peace, sir, and thank you for many wonderful generations of comic books.
