Welcome to the first installment of a new Vallejo Community Examiner series!

Life-long Learning

School has barely started...You're proud you've got as far as 11th grade and already  you've got to be thinking about  that next stage...College!  Yes, indeed, you may be thinking at this point...Stop the world, I want to get off!...but the reality is that those who have the best information have a leg up on those who don't.

So you'll want to set up some time and get on down to the Springstowne Library.  On Saturday, November 7th, the Library is featuring Solano Community College Counselor Marcie McDaniels.  She will be dishing out the skivvy on finding those valuable college scholarships, creating a dynamite educational resume  and designing  financial strategies in case that sought-after scholarship doesn't pan out.

Really, how can you afford to miss this freebie?
