
If you want your children to learn hunting skills, take them hunting. Hunting is, after all, a much better choice than buying factory farmed meat. And if you want your children to learn shooting skills, take them to a gun range or skeet shooting. Marksmanship is a fun skill to learn.
However, setting a fake duck flying around your living room for them to "shoot" at? The very best thing to come out of that is going to be all of your vases, tchotchkes, windows, etc. will be broken. Aside from that, somehow this just seems . . . gross and inappropriate.
Not to mention how offensively ugly the "duck" is. And what's wrong with a traditional BB gun? At least the BBs aren't going to be pinging around your living room like this duck will.
