No longer need gluttonous, grasping wine consumers need to be held prisoner by the likes of Spiegelau or Reidel when they want quality special glasses.

Kacper (yes, that's how he spells it) Hamilton, a young London designer, has come up with a set called 7 Deadly Glasses based on the Seven Deadly Sins: lust (as illustrated at right), gluttony, greed, sloth, pride, envy and wrath.

“Each glass encapsulates a sin, which is revealed through the ritual of drinking. The ‘7 Deadly Glasses’ are about celebrating passion and encouraging the user to be sinful in a theatrical fashion,” Hamilton’s Web site notes.

The glasses are a limited edition but are available. What do they cost? I have no idea. Says Hamilton, "Price on request."
