Arizona has lots of great fun in the sun activities for families. The Great Arizona Puppet Theater is a great place to bring the children for some good laughs. The GAPT does not just cater to children it has its share of adult shows as well. The theater is about making magic through puppetry. These talented groups of performers have been on stage since 1983, introducing its unique style of theater to children and adults.

The Great Arizona Puppet Theater is located in downtown Phoenix, with nearly fifty plays in its library includes, “Hansel and Gretel”, “Cinderella” the most favorite show of all times, and classic fairy tales.

GAPT has won New Times Best of Phoenix in 1992, 1996, 2003-2005, and 2007, as well Best Children’s Theater in 1998. The Great Arizona Puppet Theater has workshops, residences and classes for children and teachers throughout Arizona.

The Theater has a policy to treat families to entertainment and to educational shows. GAPT has a puppet gift shop that features a wide variety of finger puppets, videos, marionettes, and how to books.

The GAPT interactive shows and engaging entertainment are price list. This theater is truly an awesome place to spend a few hours for some originating experience.

This venue is setup to accommodate everyone from shows at the theater or away, with great prices.
