For every move, there is a countermove. For every wrist lock, there is an unlock. The countermove to the controversy of so-called right-wing extremism and hate emanating from the left in defamation of America herself is simple decency. Integrity. Truth. Relevance. Millions of Americans are waiting for an answer.
Hate in America has sunk to defamation, ruining the reputation of citizens who do their best at insisting on integrity and faithfulness. This is our crime. It is made out to be your crime, too, if you expect integrity from oath of office. The so-called Right trusts the system enough to summon due process over a response in kind of defamation; trusts the system to educate the electorate to compare and make the right decisions in self-rule. We do not oppose government as so-called extremists, we summon it as mainstream for its due process and its integrity. As the sovereign, we do not work for them, they work for us. They don't like that, and this is what it's all about.
One of the first unlocks for the defamation incited by the angry and bitter in America is to model the decency and integrity of the dissenters, the so-called right-wing extremists. Futile? Unrealistic? I don't think so. Because decency prevails in America. Why 80-90 million Americans choose to be armed is because of our understanding of who is in charge in this country; namely us, and not government. Government since the nation's inception is servant, and we are the sovereign. It is typical worldwide that the sovereign of a nation have the monopoly on all force in a country, and so it is with us here. We have guns in this country because we say so, and we don't need permission from our servants. They differ on this on their own initiative — against the wishes of more than 80 million adults, and against the law of the land. Even opening the debate as if our sovereignty were even open to debate is defamatory in itself. It is a breach of the integrity of office.
Remember that as the sovereign, we do not challenge the powers we gave officials – officials challenge ours to regulate them and take more powers which we did not grant them.
The repeal of all gun laws is to keep the sovereign the sovereign, because is it lethal force which backs our authority in all things. How the sovereign is maligned in our media — coming from our servants at that – telegraphs a clear intent to dissolve that sovereignty. It is not a question of whether they are right, or smarter or anything else, it is not they who are in supreme authority; we are, and that is all that matters. The attempt to turn citizen against citizen is to remove all due process of self-rule in getting out from under bigger government.
Now is the time to explain to libertarian and conservative candidates the importance of repealing all gun laws as a matter of integrity and self-rule. For state sovereignty, a vital constitutional solution in getting out from under bigger government, the repeal of all gun laws would be essential. States looking at secession are also largely states respecting citizen authority and the armed citizen independence from being second-guessed and over-regulated by a huge, indifferent government. Defamation is just another attempt to get another majority.
Thank goodness and our founding fathers that a majority is not legal in shall not be infringed. Still, forcible disarmament is on the horizon.
When it comes to the armed citizen, the repeal of all gun laws is the beginning of regaining independence from our own servants in unwinding programs thriving on what happens when citizens are not armed. Affirming the armed citizen is the decent thing to do, and decency is the countermeasure to undermine and defeat the defamation presently leveled at Americans and the very reason stupid programs can thrive in America: The government thinks you're an idiot in what you will tolerant.
In short, doing the right thing will discredit the lies of the anti-liberty crowd. As one example, we have seen that none of the fears of the anti-gun crowd has come true, even in the highest population concentration of gun owners, but our fears of the disarmed have all come true in the highest concentration of disarmed citizens: higher crime, inundation of resources i.e. trauma centers, school and workplace shootings, logjamming of the legal system, overcrowding of prisons, early release for even more crime, etc. etc.
Starting to see a pattern here?
80-90 million gun owners and millions more of non-gun owners have been most tolerant of such slander, setting the example of patience and of trusting the system to serve all of the country. Protecting the Second Amendment protects all other rights in this country. Why do you think it's in the crosshairs of the Administration and of belligerent governments around the world? The Second Amendment is a lock on self-rule. The unlock is to defame the sovereign in this country as extremist, bellicose and anti-government, that is, to lie.
Our job in self-rule — everyone's job — is to do more than model decency and integrity against defamation to the contrary; our job is to answer it and to insist on it from officials. That would mean the repeal of all gun laws before anything else. It's crime enough to stalk, rape, and murder; don't make it a crime to be the sovereign in this country, which is where we're headed: Statism.
New candidates, call your office. If you don't have an office, get one.
America is not a monarchy, she is a republic, and that calls for the repeal of all gun laws before you can really expect any return to independence from our statist servants. Or a return to safer streets.
Liberty.
