Meeting the Hate, Part IV: New challenges for liberty purists.

Last September, I wrote a monograph e-book about how liberty nuts can reach the electorate with a niche waiting in Americans longing to get out from under bigger government. It centered around how the liberty purist can join the high-speed media in answering the electorate's longing for information, and how America can regain Independence and redirect revenues to more worthwhile purposes. It has a heavy emphasis on the armed citizen as integral to unwinding many anti-hate programs. I had a Big Toe Theory to go with it all: Liberty purists have more knowledge and understanding of sovereignty and Independence in their big toe than most public servants will ever have.

In the last chapter, I address new challenges the liberty purists will face in 2009.

1. Corporate Social Responsibility
2. Defamation
3. Anger in America

There is a fourth, which is now surfacing and which we thought would be dormant for the Administration's first term. It's important to organize a response now. That fourth item is the renewed Fairness Doctrine and specific daughters or clones of it everywhere. The Fairness Doctrine is a stealth Hate effort.

Let me touch on the first three and how they serve to meet the Hate in America. Professional managers and sales professionals see objection or adversity not as roadblocks, but as road maps. Objection to a proposal, plan, or product isn't the obstacle it may seem when the professional views it as merely what the customer is really asking for or needs. He's telling you by his objection what his needs are. The professional then knows precisely how to respond to make his or her sale.

Corporate Social Responsibility is one such example. CSR has almost been ruined by liberals around the world for their intrusiveness and lust for control of Business under the fraud of improving good corporate citizenship. It's really nothing more than the anxiety model of balming old wounds. Mishandled from the beginning for its stealth intentions of disruption and horrible misunderstanding of what Business is really all about, liberals maintain their spotless record that everything they touch turns to crap.

But in America, CSR is a tremendous opportunity for major corporations to go patriotic without intrusive dictates to them on how they treat their customers or how they derive their resources. Those plans haven't worked, because nobody really seems to care about how companies do certain things, but there are large numbers of consumers who would love to know that corporations share the same patriotic values as they do, that they state them proudly and that they truly understand them beyond sloganeering and sunshine. The key is that millions of consumers would welcome knowing it. More on this later.

Defamation is a tasteless and purely underhanded political tactic to disparage the right-minded in America with self-doubt and intimidation. Liberty nuts are summoned by defamation of America and Americans to set the record straight like never before. Liberty and Independence Content tackling and impeaching defamatory hate and lies will keep plenty of purists busy, but it's necessary to do the job the mainstream media refuses to do. This is why Congress asks whether Bloggers are Journalists. The ugly idea of even raising the question is to discredit writers who would educate the electorate. What Congress forgets is the electorate's love of freedom and hunger for increasing their understanding of how to get out from under big government. Part of this understanding is this: there may be bigotry in America still, but the bigots are not the ones acting on it politically for control. The left in this country beyond question controls via demagoguery bigotry and acts out their anger and what they really think of Independence. The Ku Klux Klan, for instance, was not right wing. It never was.

Defamation may seem like a problem, but it is an opportunity to expose the Haters and reach the electorate.

Anger in America is another stealth foe of liberty because it can muster millions of the misguided and heart-broken. You've read my past series on why liberals are the haters – three generations of broken homes send up two consecutive generations of voters and activists who despite all icons of maturity, adulthood and integrity (integrity hated as being judgmental) in a never-ending search for a personal healing of old wounds. It is the acting out of personal rage and abandonment. No wonder they seek paternalism, but that, too, fails to soothe them, and they cannot see this. Cooperating with liberals is to overlook the real motivation they bring to all discussion. Exposing the real haters in America is not a problem, it is a solution.

Finally, there is the new Fairness Doctrine and its clones emerging now in various corners of all media. More dictates, more interference with dialog, more blatant exclusion of the electorate. The danger is that now there are more than one so-called Fairness Doctrine in the works, and liberty purists will have to address them all. See Internet search term Censorship Doctrine.

Understand that the electorate is most interested now in civics and the due process provided in how to get out from under these abusers in bigger government. Constituents who much prefer independence are being portrayed as hateful, angry, and mean, and though it's nothing new for Americans to put up with, it is coming to crescendo as if it were absolutely critical to some play about to be carried out. We can smell it. America is sensing it. It's giving away its position.

Americans need to learn as much as they can about Independence, their own citizen authority and self-rule. Americans need to activate, become involved and operate on the same page. Independence from our own public servants. This means repealing a lot of programs.

Where the armed citizen fits into this discernment and involvement in self-rule is in the ability to legally and effectively resist crime itself during-the-fact, and thereby show that crime is not an honest basis for many programs alleging to fight crime after-the-fact. Let crime grow, and you can introduce program after program claiming to do something about hate and violence. Affirm the armed citizen and recognize the citizen's authority to act in actually discouraging crime, and you begin to unwind many of the go-nowhere programs which consume our revenues and our spirit. Gun control has played a big part in dispiriting constituents from involvement in self-rule by punishment, confusion and outright abuse of process. Independence to them means not needing them, and this irks them.

Part of the solution to bigger government is in discerning that Hate comes in the form of defaming America and Americans, not mere opinion, but outright Hate in defiance of civil rights. Part of the solution is to understand that socialism is a kind of Hate, a kind of personal indifference and disrespect for personal dignity. Part of the solution is to learn more about Independence, and part of the solution is to repeal all gun laws.

One other thing I mention often is this: the armed citizen is not a hasty, angry person, the armed citizen is imbued with self-confidence and an awareness of their authority, one who knows he/she is on their own and prefers things that way. This impeaches the alleged purpose of socialism.

It is why Hate is brought to bear on independence, freedom and personal dignity. They just can't hide it any longer.
