Dec. 4 - White House Project's Year-End Celebration and launch of Colorado Leadership Council at 8 Rivers LoDo, 1550 Blake St. from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Celebrate all the women who ran this year. Dec. 7 - Free Community Craft Day to benefit Girls Rock Denver at Hooked on Colfax, 3215 E. Colfax Ave. Join the volunteers of Denver’s first nonprofit rock ‘n’ roll camp for girls in making buttons. Materials provided, but please bring scrap wool yarn and size 7-10 dpns or straight needles, if you have them. No experience necessary (we’ll have crafts for knitters and non-knitters), no cost to you to support a great cause.
