Most women despise getting older, but Linda Franklin, the Real Cougar Lifestyle Examiner, grabs midlife by the balls and embraces every second of it.
She's one feisty female over 40 who will be appearing on the Today show on Nov. 21 to tell the world how amazing older women are and to debunk many myths and stereotypes that come with the term "cougar."
Franklin will be appearing alongside rival sex columnist Valerie Gibson, who also has been tackling the cougar subject for years. They're cougar experts with differing perspectives. Gibson says cougars can't be married and don't want any strings attached. Franklin says women can be married or single, just as long as they've got the cougar attitude.
On Today, Franklin will be speaking about British documentary Sugar Mummies (which will be airing Nov. 23 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on BBC America). About a quarter of British women are married to younger men, and this film examines the stories behind it. Why are younger men interested in older women? Are younger men looking for a sugar mommy or are they really seeking love?
