
4 short films and one documentary make their New Jersey premiere tonight at the New Jersey film festival being held at the Rutgers camps in New Brunswick.
Splash -- directed by Kevin Burns, this seven minute piece shows how a friendly banter can turn deadly. Burns will make an appearance at the festival.
Stalkaholics -- directed by Jim Yang, this eight minute film takes a comedic look at the male ego as a young man attends Stalker’s Anonymous meetings to get tips on how to talk to a girl. Yang will make an appearance at the festival.
Here and Now -- directed by David DeCicco, a man finds his neighborhood deserted as he drives to work one morning in this 19 minute piece. DeCicco will make an appearance.
Time’s Arrow -- directed by Tom Strauss, this 21 minute film is the story of Tod Friendly, a doctor who immigrates to Europe in 1946, and winds up as a Nazi doctor. Strauss will make an appearance at the festival.
Sidecars -- this documentary, directed by Ben Stamper, tells the story of a friendship between two artists. Justin has autism, and Lyndsley has polymyositis. Together they strive to strengthen and inspire through their artwork.
The evening starts at 7 p.m. and is located at Scott Hall #123.
