Feeling existential, tired of the city, or just a little restless?
A great road trip can put you hundreds of miles away from your problems, angst, and routine; it can help you clear your head.
Most importantly, a road trip could be a really great and fun experience.

Not convinced? Anybody might wonder: why would I want to spend tedious hours locked up with people who might possibly drive me insane, to get somewhere that takes only 2 hours by plane?
There are a couple of reasons: It can be cheaper, more snacking options, you are in control of everything (except traffic), you get to spend quality time with yourself or with some friends, listen to great music, and detach yourself from the computer. But the best part? You will get to see some of the crazy beautiful places that make this country a surprisingly cool place to be.
In some ways, it seems like our generation takes long distances for granted and consequently we have a skewed perspective of distance. There is so much more to North American than what one can see during five hours sitting in a plane. When you drive you actually experience the distance from point A to point B.
Grab a willing friend or two (preferably someone with whom you get along with; who hopefully has the same expectations from a trip)
