
Yesterday the U.S. Secretary of Education and the CEO of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce unveiled a state-level report card, “Leaders and Laggards,” The report has been described as “deeply disturbing” because most states earned C’s, D’s and F’s in areas such as technology, high school quality and removal of ineffective teachers.

What category received the worst scores overall? Truth in Advertising about Student Proficiency in which 38 states received a C or lower. (3 states received no grade)
In the Category of Return On Investment: 31 states received a C or lower with 10 states receiving an F.
