
Legendary Irish rockers U2, who just finished announcing new Canadian and US tour dates shows for the summer of 2010, will perform a free concert in Berlin next month as part of the 20th anniversary celebration of the fall of the Berlin Wall.
According to the band’s official website, U2 will play a free show in front of the Brandenburg Gate on Nov. 5. The show will be beamed into the MTV Europe Music Awards ceremony at Berlin's O2 World arena.
Fans can register for tickets through the band’s official website or through MTV’s official website from 0800 GMT (4 a.m. EDT) Wednesday.

Did you know? U2’s 1991 album Achtung Baby was partly inspired by the band's stay in Berlin.
