Memo to Pakistani President Asif Zardari, King Abdullah of Saudi Arabia, Iranian President Mahmood Ahmedinajad, and any other leaders of Muslim countries: President Barack Obama has been awarded the Nobel Peace prize.

Will you take notice?

For starters, please call and congratulate President Obama on accomplishing something in nine months that you have not accomplished in your combined decades of national and international leadership.

Recognize that the very religion you claim to stand for, Islam, literally means peace.  Does it not seem odd that you stand for a religion of peace, yet your nations are replete with discrimination of religious minorities, opposition against womens rights, and scattered with extremists who are, or sympathize with confirmed terrorist organizations such as Jamaat Islami and Al Qaeda?

Take a note out of President Obama's handbook and take action.  Don't stand idle while your citizens are being killed simply because they belong to a minority Muslim sect, or because they are Christian.  Take actions to protect the persecuted among your nations.  Establish peace, because this is what Islam requires of you.

When will the leaders of the Muslim world take notice?  You have been given a power that very few people in history have been given.  Use that power to help those among you who may not be able to help themselves.  How can you not establish peace when you have the perfect example of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), who, in 23 short years peacefully united all the warring tribes of Arabia?  Why is peace so foreign to you oh Muslim leaders of the world?

Indeed, one need not be a Prophet to establish peace.  Peace can be established by any person who has the slightest bit of compassion for mankind.  By a person of any faith, color, or creed.

I suggest you give President Obama a call, or make a visit.  I know you have President Obama's number.  If not, here is at least his address. The White House 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue NW Washington, DC 20500.  It's the giant white mansion, you can't miss it.

I urge you, Muslim leaders of the world, take notice of peace.  In doing so, you will not only secure a future for your nations, but for our world.
