Umbrella Girls serve a valuable role by shielding the riders from the hot sun as they wait on the grid. Try putting on a leather jacket, pants, heavy boots, gloves and helmet, and then sitting on the track baking. Of course, while the girls are life-savers for the riders, they’re also an obvious attraction for the fans. But, the umbrella girls gracing the track aren’t the only ones to be seen.
Red Bull Girls were on hand for photos in the paddock, and for the final trophy ceremony.

And, a bit more demure, one of the SpeedTV Girls.
Umbrella Girls for Rizla Suzuki, Laguna Seca, Repsol, Dainese, Monster, and Fiat are included in the slideshow, which closes again with the Bravo Girls, for those who missed them the first time around.
